Award for Belgaum doctors

Belgaum: Two postgraduate students of KLE Society's city-based Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences, Ridhima Birmani and Eby Aluckal, of Department of Community Dentistry won awards for their scientific paper and poster they presented at the XIII National Conference of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry held at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad from November 16 to 18.

According to a release issued by the institute here on Friday, the paper titled "Self perceived dental public health competency among recent graduates in KLE VK IDS, Belgaum" presented by Dr. Birmani won the Dr. Soben Peter Best Paper Award.

During the same conference, the poster presented by Dr. Aluckal bagged the third prize. He had prepared the poster titled "Revealing the ice-berg of oral cancer," ther press release added.
