Infosys to hire from Madurai

Chennai: Information technology (IT) major Infosys Technologies has decided to hunt for fresh talent at a Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme organised by Anna University (Chennai) on December 2 and 3.

    The placement programme is being organised by the Anna University centre for university industry collaboration for the final year BE students (those passing out in 2009) of self-financing engineering colleges situated in and around Madurai region. The selection process will be held on the two days at the KLN College of Engineering, Pottapalayam, Konthagai Post, Madurai.

    Final year students of BE / BTech (all branches) with an average aggregate score of 75% and above from Semester I to Semester VI will be considered for this recruitment programme. It is also mandatory that all the students should have secured an average of 75% and above marks consistently in their standard X and XII board examinations. Besides, ME, M Tech and MCA students with a minimum of 75% marks consistently from standard X onwards are also eligible to participate.

    The participants should have completed their arrears examination and results declared. The university has requested principals and placement officers of the 63 eligible engineering colleges to verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the campus placement.

    All eligible candidates have to pay one-time registration fee of Rs 750 each in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of "The Director, CUIC, Anna University Chennai" payable in Chennai.
