Army recruitment camp from November 27

A recruitment camp for youth wanting to join the armed forces will be held in Thanjavur on November 27, District Collector M. Jayaraman said in a press release.

The camp will be held for recruitment to various posts at the Annai Sathya Stadium in Thanjavur between November 27 and December 3, for youth from various districts including Nagapattinam and Karaikal, the release said.

The candidates should bring their school certificates and mark sheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate all attested by the concerned Tahsildar to the camp at 5.30 a.m. on November 27.

Children of ex-servicemen/war widows should bring the relationship certificate from the concerned Record Offices along with details of rank, name and identification number.

Eight passport colour photographs will also be required.

Married youth below 21 years of age would not be eligible.
