Mumbai: Dhanalakshmi Bank said that its net profit grew by 17.85% to Rs8.78 crore for the second quarter ended 30 September, from the corresponding period a year ago.The company had a net profit of Rs7.45 crore for the same quarter last fiscal, Dhanalakshmi Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Total income rose to Rs108.10 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs87.61 crore in the corresponding period last year.For six months ended 30 September, the company has posted a net profit of Rs18.30, against Rs13.50 crore in the same period a year ago.Dhanalakshmi Bank was trading at Rs32, down 1.69% on the BSE.
