IISER Bhopal invites applications from eligible candidates with excellent track record for faculty positions at various levels in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Humanities
and Social Sciences (English, Philosophy of Science, and Psychology). Minimum requirement of qualifications can be relaxed in case of exceptionally outstanding candidates. Allowances and perks will be given as per Government of India norms.

Assistant Professor (Rs 12,000-420-18,300): Ph.D. with a minimum of three years of quality post-doctoral or equivalent experience

Associate Professor (Rs 16,400-450-20,000): Ph.D. with a minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience of which at least three years should be at the level of assistant professor.
Professor (Rs 18,400-500-22,400): Ph.D. with a minimum of ten years of teaching/research experience of which at least five years should be at the level of assistant/associate professor.

(For example, a faculty with a basic salary of Rs 15,000 will be receiving a gross salary of Rs33,255. Besides this, he/she will be paid moving expenses of Rs90,000 (for candidates from abroad), rent-free apartment, Rs750 per month towards personal phone bill, conveyance allowance of Rs800 per month, Rs4000 per year for books, participation in national conference once in a year and for international conference once in three years, membership fee for a professional society. These are pre-revised emoluments. The salary is going to be revised soon.)
