Intel gets jealous of trademark again

Chip giant Intel started legal action against two companies that it accused of breaching its trademarks.

The firm took action against a firm called Insider Intel LLC and also against firm called Intelcom on the 21st and 23rd of October respectively, in two separate district courts in California.

The suits follow a very similar pattern noted in many previous news stories on the IT Examiner, alleging that the companies are making hay out of Intel's sun by using the word "intel" as part of their business.

Intel believes that when that happens it damages its business and has chapter and verse on the ways that its trademark has precedent over others. We don't know of one single case over the last 15 years where Intel has failed to secure its rights.  We are willing to be told differently.
