Ayurveda training:

BANGALORE: Sadhanam, a residential training programme for Ayurveda students, has been organised by Ayurveda Academy, a voluntary organisation, from October 10. The academy president Jayaprakash Narayan said that students from 13 Ayurveda medical colleges across the State would take part in the 10-day training programme. "Trainees will be exposed to learning techniques of the ancient verses, practical demonstration of the successful treatments and case studies," he said.

Dr. Narayan said the academy would shortly open a helpline for Ayurveda practitioners, students and general public.The training, said to be the first of its kind, will be held at Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, on Kanakapura Road
