Diploma Students have 3 Chances to clear Arrears

COIMBATORE: Diploma students of polytechnic colleges who have not been able to clear their arrears will get three grace chances to do the same. Those students who were unable to attend the Board examinations and who have lost the opportunity of doing so because of existing rules, too will get the three chances.

According to a release from R. Muthusamy, Principal of S.S.M. Institute of Textile Technology and Polytechnic College, Komarapalayam, the Directorate of Technical Education has sent a communication to all polytechnic colleges based on the Government Order Ms. No. 311 dated July 28, 2008 to inform the students about the opportunity.An enhanced fee of Rs. 500 a paperwould be collected from candidates.Details about payment of fee and examinations could be obtained from the principals of the respective polytechnic colleges.
