About the Conference:

The international conference on 'Advances in Mechanical Engineering (AME-2008)' is scheduled to be held during December 15-17, 2008. The objective of this conference is to bring together experts from academic institutions, industries and research organizations and professional engineers for sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience in the emerging trends related to Mechanical Engineering education and research.

The conference is structured as plenary lectures followed by parallel sessions.

The plenary lectures will be delivered by the eminent personalities at international level invited to introduce the theme of the conference. Each
parallel session starts with an invited talk on specific topic followed by contributed papers.

Papers are invited from the prospective authors from industries, academic institutions, R&D organizations and from professional engineers.

$400 (for foreigners)

The registration fee enables the participants to receive the conference kit, proceedings, lunch, dinner, etc. during the conference days.

Important Dates:

Extended abstracts of the research papers may be sent either as an e-mail attachment (icame2008@rediffmail.com) or as a hard copy. The paper should be typed single space on A-4 sheets with 1" margin on all sides in 11-font size Arial.

Abstract Acceptance: 15th October 2008

Camera-ready Full Paper Due: 10th November 2008

Notification of Acceptance: 20th November 2008

Registration Fees Due: 28th November 2008

Some of the selected papers will be considered subsequently for possible publication in few Inderscience Journals.
