Youth for Understanding International Exchange (YFU) Scholarships offers the golden opportunity to the students in USA to interact with the families of 30 countries in the world. The unique program enables the students to imbibe the socio, cultural and economic values of the denizens of a specific country and thus enriches them in the process. The students are equipped with a global vision that helps them understand not only the wisdom and virtue that is different in all the countries but also YFU has been instrumental in promulgating the message of solidarity
and humanity to the students at an early age so that they turn out to be a responsible and tolerant human being in future. A global unity coupled with global education is imparted to the students who develop an insight about the relevance and importance of peace, tolerance and harmony. The program transcends the ethnic, linguistic, economical, religious, social and cultural barriers and endows the students with such value and knowledge that they might like them to cherish throughout their life. The families with whom the students spend a considerable part of their time are also benefited by their precious interaction with the students. The inherent philosophy of the program is to forge a strong bond of unity with a humanitarian spirit in the psyche of the students who will herald a new global era devoid of intolerance, violence and hatred.

Eligibility for Youth for Understanding International Exchange (YFU) Scholarships:

The age limit of the candidate shall be between 15 to 18 years with a score of 3 GPA for a year and 2 GPA for summer semester. The candidate should also be in a sound health.

Financial Assistance provided by Youth for Understanding International Exchange (YFU) Scholarships:

Tuition and travel expenditure are incurred by the program.
