Loyola College to hold Bemus 2008 from Today

VIJAYAWADA: Colleges, nowadays, has been giving importance to creative and personality-based skills among the students to prepare them for future. Apart from engineering, science and management courses, the trend is being adopted for commerce and arts courses as well where the students are being exposed to various aspects of soft-skill development.

Bearing this in mind, the Commerce Department of Andhra Loyola College (ALC) is conducting a national-level two-day commerce festival named 'Bemus 2008' on its campus on Monday and Tuesday.Principal S. Emmanuel will be the chairman while N.A. Francis Xavier will be convener.

Participation:Says, Mr. Francis, commerce students nowadays are enjoying a huge number of opportunities both in the country and abroad. Participation in commerce festivals would enhance the confidence levels of the students, he added. .

Students from Tamil Nadu, Karnakata and Kerala are also participating in the Bemus, being conducted for the second time at ALC.Maruthi Shankar, the managing director of Seven Seas Online, will be the chief guest.
