Applications on plain paper are invited from Indian citizens, on purely temporary basis, giving full details of educational qualifications, experience, contact number/Email and a recent passport sized photograph for the following position as per details given below for the project titled "Development of a model for intelligent integration of process planning and scheduling for flexible systems in manufacturing for performance improvement in evolving CIM environment", sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi under the supervision of Dr. Ajai Jain, Principal Investigator (P.I.) and Rajiv Verma, Co-Investigator, Mechanical Engineering Department for a period of about three years. Details of the position are given below:

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): One

Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering and having consistently good academic record. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with two years of professional experience may also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates
having exposure/interest in Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Modeling and Simulation of manufacturing systems. Knowledge of a simulation software will be an added advantage.

Fellowship: Rs. 15000/- per month (Fixed) for initial two years and Rs. 16000/- (Fixed) for remaining tenure.

Age Limit: 32 years

Tenure of About three years and is coterminous with the duration of the project.
Appointment

Applicant should have keen interest in research and willing to enroll for PhD. The selected candidate should be in a position to stay at Kurukshetra during the project period of about 3 years.
