Andhra Bank Raises 240 crore

The Andhra Bank Karimnagar zone has raised an amount of Rs.240 crore
deposits under the "innovative" AB Excel-II and going by the overwhelming response another Rs.100 crore could be deposited by customers under this product by the month end. Talking to The Hindu after the customers meet at the Andhra Bank Hyderabad Road branch here on Wednesday evening, the bank Zonal Manager A.S. Prabhakar said the bank launched a special campaign on deposit schemes and which would continue till September 20.

Assistant General Manager I.C.V. Subba Rao, Chief Managers S. Srinivas Rao and Bhaskar Reddy spoke. The branch on the occasion felicitated Pinnamaneni Ramdas, Savings Bank Account Number 1 holder and the best customer.
