Stock painting? Alums Hyde and stencils

I'm going to tackle my first stock paint job. Going for a GAP look with stencils and FDE, Black and OD Green. My question is, when do I peel off the stencils? Do I need to let it fully cure between coats? Brownells says 10-14 days! I don't want the stencils pulling up the paint underneath, but I'd also prefer not to have this stock painting job take 6 weeks and I don't want to bake a McMillian stock either. Suggestions?

I use Duracoat but the description on Brownells is similar. "Aluma-Hyde II dries to the touch in only minutes and reaches full cure in about a week.

When I did my first paint job, I ran into the same dilemma. I found that waiting at least 48 hours between coats worked well for me, and I peeled the stencils off when the top layer was still slightly tacky, but not too wet. That way, the stencils didn't pull up the paint underneath. Also, I used printable letter stencils I found online, and they worked perfectly. Trust me, it's worth experimenting with the timing to get the cleanest lines.
