Dental implants - feedback needed

My endodontist issued a verdict that one of my molars is at end of life and needs to be extracted. The suggestion is to get an implant.

I am wary of foreign titanium items in my body, especially if it's going to be protruding into a bacteria pool.

Any feedback?

What choice is there? You don't want a hole back there. All your other teeth can shift. As long as you have a good provider, you may as well get on with it.

I went through something similar and what really helped was finding a place that walked me through the whole process without pushing extras I didn't need. If you're around Ohio, cosmetic dentistry in Eastlake Ohio did a solid job with my implants. They explained everything clearly, gave me options, and didn't rush anything. Made a huge difference having people who actually listened rather than just selling procedures.
