Based on the Xtreme 1.R concept that was showcased at the 2019 EICMA motorcycle show, the Xtreme 160R is a smart-looking naked motorcycle that goes up against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and Yamaha FZ V3. The bike draws power from a 160cc, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed transmission. This engine is good for developing power and torque outputs of 15hp and 14Nm, respectively. Hero claims a rather impressive 0-60kmph acceleration time of 4.7 seconds. The bike is being is offered with a choice of disc or drum brake at the rear while a disc brake in the front and single-channel ABS are standard. Hero's Xtreme 160R sells for a starting price of Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with auto sail technology along with a negative LCD instrument cluster and side-stand engine cut-off feature.
