Field Assistant - 1 Post

Qualification Details:
There is a requirement of a Field Assistant to work under the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) of India' project of the Janapada Sampada Division. The Field Assistant will work from, Regional Centre Ranchi.

1. Post Name: Field Assistant for the project 'Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups of India'

2. Educational Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities, preferably in Cultural Anthropology/ Sociology/ Folklore/ Cultural Studies/ Performance Studies/Human right.

3. Work Profile: Field Assistant will assist in the coordination of the project and will be attached to a senior scholar. Will take responsibility in academic management, organizing meetings, reviews, workshops and seminar/ conference and also update on the progress of projects. Project assistant may work in field area also. The field area of this project is Gumla, Palamu and Lohardaga Districts of Jharkhand state

4. No. of Post: 01 (one)

5. Duration of work: 6 months

6. Remuneration: Rs.15,000 per month

7. Travel: He/She will be eligible to travel within Jharkhand in connection with official work. He/She will be eligible for TA/ DA as per IGNCA rules.

8. Place of posting: He/She will be posted in Ranchi.
