Google's new tools lets you develop apps without knowing how to code

AppSheet is Google Cloud's no-code development platform that is designed to let anyone create a powerful app without having to write a single line of code.

Google, earlier this month, bundled all its productivity tools and other services under Google Workspace. Now, less than a month after introducing Google Workspace, the company has rolled out a new tool to Workspace that enables users to develop apps without even learning how to code.

Enter: AppSheet.

To give you a quick brief about this tool, AppSheet is Google Cloud's no-code development platform that is designed to let anyone create a powerful app without having to write a single line of code. Instead of learning to code or finding someone to create the app that a user needs, they can use AppSheet to create the app so that they can focus on using it instead of developing or fixing it. This new tool enables users to create their own application using AppSheet directly from Google Sheets.

Now, Google has added Google AppSheet to the Google Workspace bundle. This means that when users access the interface of Google Workspace, they will see AppSheet along with other tools and services.

To use this tool, here's what users need to do: open up a Sheet > under "Tools" click on "Open in AppSheet." "Once you create an AppSheet account (if you didn't have one already), AppSheet will take care of the coding part, analyzing the data structure and creating a prototype app from it," Google explained in a blog post.
