The Abirami Amman-Padmagriswarar Temple is located in the heart of Dindigul. It is one of the famous temples in Dindigul. Thus a large number of devotees come daily to perform Sami darshan. There are also shopping malls and a government high school near the temple. Therefore, the area where the temple is located is more nomadic.

Exodus of devotees

Devotees in the temple were immediately evicted following this. And suddenly more than 20 policemen rushed to the temple. After that the bomb detection test began.

2 hour test

Police searched the temple premises with Lima and metal detector equipment. They inspected all the shrines in the temple, both inside and outside, including the upper part of the temple, the Rajagopuram, and the temple administration office.

The test lasted about 2 hours. But no bombs were found, as the mysterious person said on the phone. After that the police and the devotees were relieved. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the bomb threat, a police raid on the Abirami Amman temple caused a stir in Dindigul.

Police investigation

Meanwhile, Dindigul North police are investigating a person who allegedly planted a bomb in the temple. For this, the Chennai DGP. The phone call to the office is being investigated.
