The college is the third women's arts and science college and the 13th arts and science college in Tiruvannamalai district, he said.

A.R. Veeramani, Registrar-in-charge, Thiruvalluvar University, called upon the students to develop their communication skills to fare well in interviews and get placements.

The college should also motivate the students to acquire soft skills, he said.
