The survey stated, "Globally, respondents who use Perl, Scala, and Go tend to have the highest salaries, with a median salary around $75k."

The 2nd position in the list is occupied by Scala. Professionals with Scala skills are also offered an average salary of $76,000.

3. Go

Developers with Go programming skills are offered an average salary of $74,000 by top software companies globally in 2020.

4. Rust

The job profiles that require Rust programming skills offer the average salary of $74,000.

5. Ruby

The average salary offered to Ruby programmers in the year 2020 is $71,000.

6. Bash/Shell/PowerShell
