Top tech firms working on enterprise software technologies pay high salaries to qualified tech professionals. Some of the largest enterprise software builders pay upwards of $100,000 per annum salaries. Smaller companies pay their developers on a little lower side. But enterprise developers at large firms receive highest salary levels.

IEEE's rankings are based on 300 programming languages pulled from GitHub. It then narrows them down to 52 programming languages that earned the most search results on Google. To arrive at the aggregate score, IEEE follows separate cuts for mobile, web, enterprise and embedded.
