Karnan: Title poster of Dhanush's film with Mari Selvaraj unveiled

One of the most anticipated films of Dhanush this year is 'Karnan' directed by Mari Selvaraj. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations, the film has Malayalam actor Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead. As actor Dhanush celebrates his 37 birthday today, the makers have released the title look of the film.

The title poster of the film has a sword being held by a lot of people. Director Mari Selvaraj along with the producer of the film wished Dhanush for his birthday and revealed the title poster of the film. Kalaipuli S Thanu has announced that a glimpse into the making of the film will be released at 5.55 pm today.

Mari Selvaraj had earlier revealed the reason behind naming the film 'Karnan' and explained that Dhanush's character's name in the film is Karnan and hence the title. Popular Malayalam actor Lal plays an important role along with cinematographer-turned-actor Natarajan Subramanian aka Natty. Actor Yogi Babu also seems to be playing an important role in the film.

There is a lot of expectations for the film ever since Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj joined hands for it and even more after Dhanush shared a picture of himself with a sword in hand during the shooting earlier in January.

Meanwhile, the makers of his film 'Jagame Thandhiram' have released the first single titled 'Rakita Rakita Rakita' from the film, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
