Sony ZV-1 camera was launched in the global market last month. The ZV-1 is an advanced point-and-shoot camera designed to attract modern-day vloggers. Now, Sony India may introduce this compact camera on July 24 as per hearsay.

Sony ZV-1 could be a treat for digital content curators in India. Similar to Sony RX-100 series cameras, the ZV-1 is a compact camera with added features and modes such as adjusting the level of background blur to highlight the subject's face.

Sony ZV-1 packs a 20.1-megapixel image sensor and supports a 2.7x optical zoom. The ZV-1 features an aperture scale of F1.8-to-F2.8 and an ISO scale of 125-to-12800. The ISO range allows ZV-1 to shoot better quality images in low-light conditions. The vlogging camera can record 4K videos at 30 fps, FHD videos at different frame rates ranging from 24p to 120fps.

The 3-inch LCD touch screen display of Sony ZV-1 can be flipped-out entirely for flexible shooting. The ZV-1 comes with an eye autofocus feature. Cameras with an eye-AF feature detect the human eye to establish focus and lock it even when the camera and the subject is continuously moving.

The other features include a dedicated button for adjusting the background blur. Sony ZV-1 also comes with a Product Showcase setting which allows shifting focus from subject's face to an object that is being shown to the camera. For the audio, the ZV-1 gets a three-capsule microphone for clear voice recording.

The price of the Sony ZV-1 for the Indian market is yet to be announced. For the availability, the vlogging camera is expected to be launched on July 24, 2020.
