New Honda Motors was time for them to take on India, as India was just opening after the libarlisation norms and rules. The Honda City i-VTEC  is high on safety and is loaded with several active and passive safety features that comprise of Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA), Dual SRS airbags, seatbelts with pre-tensioners, and rigid car body with Honda G-Force Control Technology (G-CON). The front body structure of the new Honda City also ensures advanced pedestrian safety.
