New 10 word in English

1. schlockmification--pretty self-explanatory process or phenomenon. I particularly like the "ckm" constellation. Sentence: "Judy objected to the schlockmification factor when the curator introduced a work by Jeff Koons into the gallery." (This in no way indicates MY feelings towards Lancastrian-by-birth and sometime-porn-player Jeff Koons, whom I actually admire. But I needed an easy example.)

2. Gaydoh--an unconscious gay man's available flesh. Just kidding! Date rape is so uncool. But I do like the word.

3. Disturbiaphobia--fear of bad movies that rely on soundtracks that suddenly get REALLY loud when they have no idea what to do with things like character or plot...

4. Orwellivision--a television that mysteriously shuts itself off when you fall asleep at night without being programmed by you to do so...sure, they claim it's for some technological reason but it even happens when I nap during the daytime. You just know Big Bro is in that set. DVRs come with a hidden price...

5.antopoly---the state wherein there are more ants than food matter in a particular food...for instance when a box of Trix becomes 51 percent ants and 49 percent Trix.

6.luxisternutation---the phenomenon of suddenly sneezing upon exposure to bright light, such as seeing the first snow in the morning upon leaving the house...this happens to me a lot...

7. proxidiurnalism--the phenomenon by which certain foods taste better the day AFTER their preparation, as leftovers, such as spaghetti or brownies.

8. porciepiphany--the sudden striking realization that pork is plug-nasty, followed by a total eschewal of it. Think about it...it's neither kosher nor halal, and those people can't agree on ANYTHING for how many years! By the way, pork is definitely NOT a proxidiurnal food...the opposite in fact.

9. phantasmovocalization--any sudden vocalization by a toy when no human being is near it, and no vibration or other apparent causative explanation for such sudden utterance is apparent. Believed to be caused by toy-spirits or Dildos (see my account of Dildos elsewhere on this blog).

10. necrovilification---vilifying the dead; going against the Latin precept of "De mortuis nil nisi bonum." Do it at your own peril. I trust Webster's will have these all included in the next edition. Check or money order to yours truly for enriching this wonderfully glossolalic tongue of ours. The English language just constantly spawns words the way Britney spawns tabloidia.
