I have lots of Experience in Call Center and My Friend too.

call center culture is entirely different to set.

specifically, in international lot of unusual things happening..in callcenter very difficult to find the people who is boy & girl.

all r viewed same, now the trend for most of the guys to develop long hair & wandering simply to make burden in world.

i heard from one of my friend who is working in XYZ call center in chennai.

for his process, a new manager is committed.so, he needs to send a formal mail to clients, team, higher officials & all valuable customers.

obviously, the way of accent is different, he send mail :

Dear team,

" This is impotents to inform that " - the actual thing is " This is importance to inform that. "

the single word make unusual meaning, without reading his typed content he posted his mail.

Hope, all should understand the meaning of the above sentence

the result from client is : Hope, u people having idea...no need to explain lot..

the thing which we need to focus is not the mail which he has been posted, how the presence of people

in higher position, ultimately the result in callcenter is sucking brain.

no way to develop ur skills where ever u placed..simple thing is u just talk abt the same content

without changing the script..

but, wat i heard and wat i learned & got from senior people in these industry is :

* good place to learn people handling

* Customer Interaction

* originality of market trends

* well skilled in speech ( not in communication )hmmmmm to outsource...

lot of advantges  / dis adv there..but these industries never fit for long time...am strong in that..

I think BPO, we can have it as part time. 
Rather than we can go to KPO, where we can develop our knowledge in a particular domain.

Hmmm but Bpo is just for business mans and to gain knowlege i hope Kpo could help.

If so many Indians are going to work in nightshifts for BPOs...There'll be a drastic change in the sleeping habits..you work during nights and end up yawning in the morning? Some Biological evolution is going to take place in the near future...lol

But nothing like more different.

There life cycle changes. First time there life cycle entirely changed after there birth. And then again the life cycle changes when they start realize that there life and knowledge is wasted so far working in BPO or Call Center.

Hmmm Let there Life and Head revolves for some unknown actions.
