TNAU counselling schedule for UG admissions

COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, will begin the first phase of counselling for its 12 undergraduate programmes on June 23.

According to a release from K. Vanangamudi, Dean (Agriculture), the rank list was published on June 18 in the university's website www.tnau.ac.in.

The programmes are: B. Sc. (Agriculture), B. Sc. (Horticulture), B. Sc. (Forestry) and B. Sc. (Home Science). The B. Tech. programmes are in Horticulture, Food Processing Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Information Technology. B.S. in Agribusiness Management is also being offered.

First phase of counselling for general category will be held from June 23 to 28; while the second phase will be held on July 7. Classes will commence on July 22.

The details of cut-off marks and date of counselling are: (See table)Counselling call letters have already been sent to eligible candidates. Those who have not received the call letter and have cut-off marks in the above mentioned range can attend the counselling. Candidates should bring copies of certificates.

A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rs. 1,000 for SC / ST) should be paid to the university at the time of counselling.
