Letter writing competition

COIMBATORE: India Post will conduct a letter-writing competition here on January 3, 2010 for school students.

According to a release from the Department, children aged 15 or below (as on March 31, 2010) can participate. The age of the participant should be certified by the respective school authority and the candidates should submit the certificate with three passport size photographs to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Coimbatore Division, Coimbatore 641001 on or before December 20, 2009.

The topic for the competition is: Write a letter to someone to explain why it is important to talk about AIDS and to protect yourself against the disease. The letter should be 500 to 800 words in English or any vernacular language.
