ITI development through PPP mode

VILLUPURAM: It has been proposed to develop the two government-run Industrial Training Institutes, located at Chidambaram (Cuddalore district) and Sankarapuram (Villupuram district), on public-private partnership (PPP) mode.

A statement issued from the Collectorate said that industries or private organisations that come forward to improve these ITIs would be given interest-free loan amounting to Rs 2.5 crore.

Those interested could apply to the Commissioner, Department of Employment and Training, Alandur Road, Guindy, Chennai – 600 032, before Friday.
