Intex Announces Two Mid-range Phones
« on: April 15, 2009, 09:37:05 AM »
Intex has announced the addition of two new mid-range feature packed phones to their collection. The new devices announced are the IN5000, a touchscreen phone and the IN 5040, a dual SIM handset.

The IN 5000 will mark Intex's foray into the competitive touchscreen segment. It features a two-inch touchscreen and comes enclosed in a stylish leather flap, nullifying the need for a separate mobile cover. Other features include FM Radio, mobile tracking software, expandable memory, GPRS and Bluetooth. The IN 5000 has been priced at Rs. 5000.

As for the IN 5040, this one is a dual SIM device and features a "high resolution" camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM radio, USB PC connectivity, expandable memory, audio & video player and a 1000 contacts phonebook memory. The IN 5040 is priced at Rs. 5500. The company has also announced its intentions to launch more dual SIM handsets in the near future.
